The Cost of Becoming
1
Thought • Mindfulness • Jan 25, 2026
Not knowing where you’re going doesn’t mean you’re failing. It means you’re honest. Most people pretend they have a map. A five year plan. A clean answer for every “what’s next?”
I tried that too. It looked stable. It wasn’t true. Because if you’re actually building something real clarity comes last.
- You move first.
- You learn second.
- You understand later.
Confusion isn’t a flaw in the system. It’s the entry point. The moment you admit “I don’t know” you stop performing and start choosing. That’s agency.
You’re not behind. You’re not broken.
You’re just standing at the part of the road where faith replaces certainty. And that’s not failure. That’s the cost of becoming.
