To My Better Half

To my wife, my better half, and my enemy,
I know it is still early, since it is not yet February, but I wanted to say thank you for everything you have done. You help me in ways I never thought possible. You stayed by my side, believing in the dreams I have for us, even in my darkest moments.
You could have left, but you stayed. I am so glad I found you and that you accepted me for who I am. You listen to me even when all you offer is a nod. Every time I say something and wonder, “Am I crazy?” you are always there, trying to understand.
I know we faced many challenges in the middle of last year, but we were able to overcome them together. As we face the year 2026, I could easily list everything I want for us, but I know that many unexpected things can happen.
All I truly want is for us to keep believing and to keep hoping, to the point where hope and prayer become our strongest weapons.
Let us have faith, knowing there has never been a challenge God gave us that we could not overcome. We must be ready and prepared for 2026, because so much can change in a day, a week, or a month.
- I will love you, and I will love our child.
- I will give everything I have to make sure we have what we need.
- I will provide an abundance of heart and mind, not just money.
I also want to promise you that no matter what 2026 throws our way, I will keep choosing you every single day. I will be the partner who stands by you. I want our home to be a place where we grow in faith, kindness, and understanding. You are my greatest treasure, and I am ready to face every unexpected moment of this new year as long as your hand is in mine.
I want us to build a life where our faith is the foundation of every decision we make. I promise to pick you up when you are tired and to give you peace when you come home after a long day.
Let us make 2026 a year of deeper connection. Where we do not just survive challenges but use them to grow even closer. I am fully committed to becoming the best version of myself for you. Together, we will turn every “what if” into a beautiful memory, trusting that as long as we have each other and our prayers, we already have everything we need.
I love you with all my heart.
